A Beach Vacation Package is an Inexpensive Way to Have Fun

There is nothing quite like a beach vacation. Whether you are traveling by yourself, in a group of friends, or with your family, a beach vacation package is the best way to relax and have fun on a budget.

An all-inclusive vacation is the easiest way to travel. You make your travel arrangements and your resort takes care of the rest. Leave your wallet in your room, because your meals are already paid for. Whatever you want-beach volleyball, a quiet dinner, or activities for children-it's all right there. Once you pass through the gate of an all inclusive vacation resort, you don't have to go anywhere else. Paradise is right at your door.

You can take your beach vacation close to home or at a faraway exotic location. Are you thinking about that foreign country for your family vacation, but you don't speak the language. Don't worry. With an all-inclusive vacation, the resort will pick you up at the airport or ship and take you right to the beach. You won't have to deal with anyone who does not speak your language.

Do you want to go to Hawaii, Mexico, or the Caribbean? Do you want to go whale watching, snorkeling, golfing or surfing? Maybe horseback riding, hiking, or scuba diving is your passion. If you're interested in local culture, you can visit rainforests, museums, villages, and monuments. Maybe you'd like to cruise from island to island. You'll find many ways to enjoy your beach vacation-even if you just want to relax by the pool or on the sand.

Such great vacations must cost an awful lot, you say. Well, in fact with a beach vacation package you can have quite a cheap vacation. An all-inclusive vacation can be a particularly good value because it's a package deal. When you look at prices, make sure you understand exactly what is and what is not included. "All-inclusive" does not mean the same thing to everybody.

Shop around before you decide on your beach vacation. Hundreds of websites offer vacation packages, and many of them offer special deals. Take your time browsing before you decide-there's a lot to choose from.

If you don't mind traveling in the off-season, you can get even better bargains. The bridge season-the time between in-season and off-season-is also a good time to travel. Prices are cheaper and destinations are less crowded. You risk uncertain weather and some of the tourist attractions may be closed, but it may be worth taking the chance.

In addition to websites that offer vacation packages, many websites carry reviews of resorts, destinations, and vacation packages. Customer reviews can help you determine whether the beach vacation package you're considering is really as great as it sounds.

The hardest part of your beach vacation will be deciding where to go and which package to choose. An all-inclusive package vacation can save loads of time and money, so you can enjoy your time in the sun. And that's what a beach vacation is all about!

7 Things to Do in Bangkok, Thailand

Bangkok, the capital city of Thailand, is a vacationer's paradise. Sights and shopping abound. Beware; the city is crowded and the traffic is pretty appalling. On the upside, however, is an excellent public transportation system that allows visitors to get around easily. Bangkok's many attractions include the following:

Grand Palace

Grand Palace contains over 100 buildings and courtyards, and provided inspiration for the story The King and I. Tourists can walk through the many buildings and see the lavish, gilded decor. Any trip to the Grand Palace is capped by visiting the Wat Phra Kaeo: the Temple of the Emerald Buddha. The statue, carved from jade, sits atop a 34-foot golden throne.

Aythaya

This former capital of the dynastic rulers lies 50 miles north of Bangkok. It can be reached by river on a luxury cruise. The ruins of the former kings' palace, with its canals, are worth seeing as-is, and are also currently being restored.

Chatuchak Weekend Market

This 30-acre market is one of the world's largest. Thousands of booths selling nearly everything at bargain prices runs along under awnings. Since it is outdoors, the crowds and close quarters can get pretty hot, so consider going in the early morning.

The Oriental

In a city famous for its luxury accommodations, The Oriental has a charming 130-year history. Among other famous guests, many authors have stayed in its rooms. The hotel offers lectures, a cooking school, a spa, and dance performances.

The Bridge on the River Kwai

Visit the Jeath War Museum to learn about the history of the bridge that inspired a book and movie. It was built by POW's held by the Japanese during WWII, and was known as the "Death Railway".

Wat Pho

Among many wats, or temples, to be seen in Bangkok is Wat Pho, the largest. Wat Pho is a complex, in close proximity to the Grand Palace. The giant gold reclining Buddha is especially impressive.

Wat Arun

The stunning and unusual Temple of the Dawn may be best viewed from the river. Its distinctive appearance comes from the fact that its walls are covered with a mosaic of broken Chinese porcelain.

Any traveler can find something to love in Bangkok. The glittering temples, the bustling energy, the museums, shopping, and luxury hotels offer a selection of experiences that will make travel to Thailand unforgettable.

Pattaya's Well Kept Secret - The Floating Market

The Floating Market is one of the best kept tourist secrets in Pattaya.  Opened in November of 2008, this market spans 27 Acres of land and is the largest of its kind in Thailand.  You will find it is only a short drive to the south of Pattaya along Sukhumvit road, making a very good place to spend a day of sight seeing.

It is a fabricated version of a traditional Thai floating market that pays homage to the four different cultural regions of the Country.  You will find architecture and attractions that represent the North, South, Central, and North Eastern states.

A floating market was once a tradition of Thailand, as the country was developed on a series of man made canals.  Bangkok has often been referred to as the Venice of the East.  With the advent of modern roads and stores, only a few of the original floating markets survive.  The Pattaya Floating Market harkens back to the past, and engulfs the visitor in what was once a fixture in Thai life.

A visitor will find that the grounds contain many types of Thai buildings, each displaying architecture unique to a particular area of Thailand.  Guest can walk among the canals and buildings on a custom built boardwalk.

Another option is to take a canal tour by boat.  It will give the visitors a view of what life was once like on the canals.  Witness river life, homes, bridges, and the variety of plant life on the banks.

Guests will also find a wide display of cultural activities available at the park.  From Muay Thai martial arts demonstrations, Thai classical dance, to the water boxing show, one will not be disappointed.  There are demonstrations of dance from Bangkok, Lao, and the ever popular coconut shell dance.

Amongst the many buildings on the grounds are arts and crafts displays that represent the different regions.  Plenty of Souvenir shopping and food is also available.   On display in one of the shops are rare 200 year old hand carved teak wood crafts that should not be missed.

The Floating Market in Pattaya is one of the newest attractions in the area.  The close location to the city and wonderful exposure to a bygone era that this attraction provides, it is sure not to be missed.  It won't be long before this hidden gem is well known.

View Talay 1 Buildings A & B Condominium - Apartment Rental in Jomtien Pattaya Thailand

Currently there are 8 View talay projects in Jomtien and Pattaya. With View talay 8 due to be completed by the middle of 2010. So I thought it was time to look once again at where it all started some 15 years ago with View talay 1.

This condominium complex was the first to be built and when finished was an instant success. As one of the first modern condominium complexes in Jomtien Pattaya its designers introduced many interesting features such as shopping areas on the ground floor of both buildings and a large swimming pool sat between them. The pool is much larger than most other condominium projects in Pattaya and there is also a restaurant area serving food and refreshments. Being surrounded by shrubbery and palm trees the pool has a very relaxed feel about it

View talay 1 is a 15 story building and from the mid to high floors gives good views of Jomtien and Pattaya. The standard room size is 32sqm. Many owners have bought rooms side by side so it is possible to rent 64 and 96 sqm apartments.

In the last two years both buildings 1A and 1B have under gone a complete refurbishment program, with many improvements both inside and outside been undertaken. All this is good news if you're looking to rent an apartment in Jomtien Pattaya. View talay's 2, 3, 5, 6 and 7 are all more expensive to rent because they are newer and offer slightly bigger room sizes but View talay 1 since its refurbishment is equally as pleasant to stay and if your budget is not vast well worth considering. Below is a list of pro's and con's and when you consider the difference in price View talay 1 is not so bad at all as a holiday rental.

Con's:

15 minute walk to the beach

Room size: 32sqm

Pro's:

Relatively cheap rent

Large swimming pool

24hr Security

Key card entry

Easy access to Pattaya

Newly refurbished

Children's play area

Various shops and internet

Car and motor bike hire

The cost of renting a 32sqm apartment in View talay 1 varies between 7500Baht to 15000Baht for something special. Compare that to renting a 48sqm apartment say in View talay 5 at 18 - 23000Baht a month.

Location, location, location. Yes location is important. View talay 1 may not be as close to the beach as some others but you do have easy access to the baht buses that pass by the main entrance every few minutes. From the entrance you can walk down to the beach at Jomtien. No more than 15 minutes or! For just 10Baht, catch a Baht bus and be at Jomtien beach in less than 5 minutes. By baht bus from the main entrance, Pattaya is only 10 minutes away. Yes location is important and View talay 1 is in one of the best.

About Acapulco

Mexico's first great resort destination, Acapulco is a stunningly beautiful city located around a bay on the Pacific Ocean, with miles of easily-accessible beaches. It's truly in the tropics, with palm trees and other exotic plants everywhere. Views across the bay are gorgeous, the sunsets are legendary, and the city lights at night are lovely from every vantage point.

What to do? Swimming (but note that some beaches have rough surf and undertows), working on your tan, eating and drinking at the wide variety of restaurants and clubs... and staying up late (or all night) to go dancing at the discos. Scuba diving, fishing, boating, and other water sports are available, as are golf courses and tennis courts. The shopping is great fun, though don't expect the best bargains in Mexico in this tourist-oriented city. Famous divers jump off extremely high cliffs into the sea at La Quebrada... that's something to watch, not to do! Most of all, Acapulco is a place to relax.

I've been to Acapulco both as a child and as an adult. Of course, the city has changed a lot; the quaint little motel just a block from the beach where we stayed when I was a kid is long gone, replaced with newer, taller buildings.

I adored the city as a child, and I continue to like its natural beauty and its beaches. Though it is now a huge city and very tourist-oriented, I still think Acapulco is an outstanding place for a beach vacation. The glittering celebrities are more likely to go to the newer resorts -- Cancun and others that were small towns or fishing ports when Acapulco was the rising star.

If you explore the central market and other places away from the obvious main tourist areas, you can get a real connection with the people. Many of the tourists nowadays are Mexican, and you can chat with them on the beach. Don't speak Spanish? No problem! Smiles go a long way, and many Mexicans know some English.

The weather in Acapulco is very nice all winter, hot and humid in the summer. Good thing the beach is there!
